Story

Our story
Labrador Transparency was founded with a clear vision: to make information accessible, reliable, and transparent, building trust between businesses and their stakeholders. Under the leadership of our founder, Laurent Rouyrès, we have created a movement towards clear, investor-friendly disclosures, first in Europe and then in the United States.
Over the past 30 years, Labrador has revolutionized investor communications by making disclosures that are engaging, clear, and easy to understand. We define transparency through a certified method built on five pillars: Accessibility, Precision, Comparability, Availability, and Clarity. These standards, now broadly adopted in Europe and the United States, have become benchmarks for better, more understandable information. By simplifying elements like the presentation of risk, executive compensation, and the alignment of governance and strategy, we have transformed how markets view investor communications.
Every day, we help companies build strong relationships with their stakeholders through three core areas of expertise:
- Consulting: Disclosure strategy and support for SEC filings, sustainability reporting, ethics and compliance, and other key stakeholder communications.
- Design: Clear content, readability, and clear language.
- Technology: Collaborative publishing, project management, clear language, translation tools, and AI-powered analysis.
To shape the future of transparency, we prioritize independence. We have established a Transparency Scientific Committee to analyze and validate our transparency criteria. In today’s uncertain world, our commitment to accurate, verifiable information is more critical than ever. By advocating for clear, universal standards, we are preparing future generations for a world where transparency is key to trust and performance.
At Labrador Transparency, we don’t just talk about transparency – we build it.
Our purpose
Our mission is to instill trust in businesses through transparent information.
To achieve this, we focus on three core principles:
1. Prioritize the benefits of transparency over our own interests
2. Design information for the reader
3. Overcome resistance to transparency
Evidence-based Commitment
For the Group, transparency is not just a belief, but a proven commitment backed by tangible results. Our scientific approach delivers measurable outcomes: a 15% reduction in word count, 25% faster reading speed, 35% better comprehension, and a 40% reduction in time spent searching for information. These numbers show that clear, precise information not only accelerates understanding but also boosts engagement. In Shareholder Meetings, this leads to more informed voting, as shareholders understand proposals.
